Nesta Google API Disclosure

How Nesta uses Google API data, connected Google account information, limited-use controls, and user-authorized integrations.

1. Scope

Nesta may offer features that connect to Google services, including Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Local Services Ads, Google Places, maps, and related APIs.

This disclosure supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

2. How We Use Google API Data

When you authorize Google access, we use Google API data to provide or improve user-facing features you request, such as:

  • connecting and displaying business profile information;
  • retrieving search, visibility, advertising, and lead data;
  • helping generate reports, dashboards, recommendations, and drafts;
  • supporting customer-authorized publishing or account workflows; and
  • maintaining security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention for those features.

3. Limited Use

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

In particular:

  • we do not sell Google API data;
  • we do not use Google API data for prohibited advertising purposes;
  • we do not use Google API data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models where prohibited by Google's policy; and
  • we only transfer Google API data as needed to provide or improve user-facing features, comply with law, protect security, or as otherwise permitted by applicable Google policies.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers remain responsible for:

  • having authority to connect Google accounts;
  • complying with Google platform terms and policies;
  • reviewing drafts, recommendations, ads, posts, and profile updates before publishing; and
  • managing budgets, billing, permissions, and account-level controls in connected advertising or lead-generation accounts.

5. Revoking Access

You may revoke Google access through your Nesta account settings where available or through Google's permission controls.

Revoking access may limit or disable features that depend on the connected Google account.
